A little bit about me: I'm an extremely driven single dad, juggling a full-time job in construction while raising a wonderful little boy and doing everything I can to pursue my photography. My mornings are early and my evenings are late. I wouldn't change a thing though. Photography is a real labour of love and I understand that I need to put in a ton of work it if I want to succeed.
It all began back in 2004, with my first 3.2 MP digital camera (Hah!). Ever since, I simply haven't been able to put my camera down. I bought my first semi-pro DSLR in 2006 and have continued collecting equipment, while relentlessly working on my craft. During the winter of 2009/2010, I pounced on the opportunity to shoot talented skiers and riders in Whistler, BC, thanks to Douglas Stanley with Dreamwave Media. I've spent every winter since trying to perfect my vision, despite the challenging circumstances of shooting in negative temperatures, snow and rain, all while lugging around a heavy bag full of gear and portable lighting equipment, usually requiring an assistant. While ski and snowboard photography is where my heart is, I really do love ALL aspects of photography, ranging from weddings to real estate photography. Have a look at my work and let me know if there's anything I can do for you! Have a fresh idea and want to collaborate? Let's talk!
